Step 1: Install prerequisite software

• ● iTunes — Download from apple.com or Microsoft Store. This provides the Apple USB drivers needed to communicate with iPhone.
• ● 3uTools — Download from 3u.com. Used as a helper during the initial setup process on iPhone.

Step 2: Download & install DrakoCtrl

1. Go to the Download page and download the latest installer (.exe)
2. Run the installer → Accept EULA → Choose install location (default is recommended)
3. Wait for installation to complete → Launch the app from desktop shortcut or Start Menu

Step 3: Activate license

On first launch, you have two options:

• ✓ Free Trial — 15 days, up to 5 devices. No credit card needed. Click “Start Trial” to begin.
• ✓ License Key — Enter your purchased license key to activate full features.

Screen Mirroring

Real-time MJPEG screen mirroring with adaptive quality. Resolution auto-adjusts based on the number of connected devices to maintain smooth performance. Double-click a device to enter fullscreen mode.

Touch Control

Click on the video stream to tap. Click and drag to swipe. All touch interactions are mirrored to the iPhone in real-time with minimal latency. Supports single tap, long press, and swipe gestures.

Keyboard Input

Type directly from your PC keyboard. Text is sent to the focused app on the iPhone. Useful for filling forms, messaging, and data entry across multiple devices.

Broadcast Control

Select multiple devices and send the same tap, swipe or text to all of them simultaneously. Perfect for batch operations, marketing tasks, or performing identical actions across many devices at once.

Available in Pro and Enterprise plans.

Action Recording & Playback

Record a sequence of taps and swipes, then replay them automatically on one or multiple devices. Supports auto-swipe for repetitive tasks like scrolling feeds.

Recording from Starter plan. Auto-swipe in Pro and Enterprise.

IPA File Install

Install .ipa files directly to connected iPhones via USB. No network required. Select one or multiple devices to install simultaneously.

Available from Starter plan.

Device not detected

• • Make sure iTunes is installed and can see the device. If iTunes doesn’t see it, DrakoCtrl won’t either.
• • Try a different USB cable — cheap or damaged cables are the most common cause.
• • Tap “Trust” on the iPhone. If the popup doesn’t appear, go to Settings → General → Transfer or Reset → Reset Location & Privacy.
• • Try a different USB port — avoid front panel ports, use rear ports directly on the motherboard.

iPhoneControl.ipa fails to install

• • On iOS 16.x, enable Developer Mode: Settings → Privacy & Security → Developer Mode → Toggle ON → Restart.
• • Ensure the iPhone is unlocked during installation. Auto-lock will interrupt the process.
• • Check available storage — at least 500MB free is recommended.
• • Make sure you completed all 3 steps in the setup wizard, especially “Install Persistence Helper” in Step 2.

Screen not showing / black screen

• • Check if “Automation Running” is shown on iPhone. If not, the control app may need to be restarted.
• • Try unplugging and replugging the USB cable. This forces a reconnection.
• • Right-click the device in DrakoCtrl and select “Restart WDA” to restart the control service.

Video stream is laggy

• • Use USB 3.0 ports/hubs for better bandwidth. USB 2.0 can be a bottleneck with many devices.
• • Reduce the number of connected devices or lower the video quality in Settings panel.
• • Close other resource-heavy apps on your PC. DrakoCtrl needs CPU for video decoding.
• • Try fullscreen mode for a single device to get the best quality stream.

Touch/tap not working

• • Make sure “Automation Running” is shown on iPhone — this means the control service is active.
• • Click directly on the video stream area, not outside it.
• • If broadcast mode is ON, make sure the correct devices are selected.
